Trevi Fountain

The Trevi Fountain, one of the most famous fountains in the world, is a stunning masterpiece of Baroque architecture and a beloved symbol of Rome. Completed in 1762 and designed by Nicola Salvi, the fountain features a grand facade, adorned with mythological figures and intricate sculptures.

Its centerpiece is Oceanus, the god of the sea, flanked by allegorical representations of abundance and health, as well as sculptures representing the bounty of nature. The fountain’s cascading waters create an enchanting sound that adds to the overall experience. Tradition dictates that visitors toss a coin over their left shoulder into the fountain to ensure their return to Rome, with an estimated €3,000 thrown in daily.

Illuminated at night, the Trevi Fountain is a breathtaking sight, drawing crowds who gather to admire its beauty and capture memorable photographs. Surrounding the fountain are charming streets filled with gelato shops and cafes, making it a perfect place to relax and soak in the atmosphere. Whether seen during the day or illuminated at night, the Trevi Fountain is a must-see attraction that encapsulates the romance and magic of Rome.
